Argentina has its first NBA Store. The first NBA Store is in Buenos Aires and among its curiosities, it has the second largest basketball in the world. Where is the NBA Store in Argentina?
Buenos Aires premieres NBA Store: a museum, a cafeteria and a giant ball.
The NBA has arrived in Buenos Aires with a bang because it landed with the first store dedicated to world-class basketball. The first NBA Store in Argentina is in Buenos Aires and can already be visited. The NBA Store in Argentina is located in Panamericana and Edison, in Martinez, with an immersive proposal where you will be able to do much more than just buy jerseys.
The first thing that strikes you is its façade: at the entrance of the NBA Store there is a basketball of 8 meters in diameter and 8 tons, the second largest basketball in the world. This work of art was created by artist Coni Panizza and sets the tone for everything inside.
Inside the store, basketball and NBA fans can tour a mini-museum with historic jerseys of league legends. There is also an area for customizing sneakers and balls, with live interventions by artists such as @fiore.customstore, @estudiofileteado and @tomestudio.
In addition, the store has a court where you can try on shoes or just play for a while. If you’d also like to relax or just have a drink while you pick out your next pair of shoes, there’s the NBA Café and a streaming room with access to NBA League Pass content. Of course, there is no shortage of official merchandise: you can get current and retro apparel from all the teams.
T-shirts start at $30,000 and official jerseys are around $160,000.
The NBA Store in Martinez is open every day, Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm. The address is Panamericana and Edison, Martinez.
