This Tuesday, February 24, at 5:30 p.m., Buenos Aires will once again enjoy the Jorge Luis Borges Plaza and celebrate with a day of outdoor reading in collaboration with the Mariano Moreno National Library.
The event will take place at 2529 Austria Street, and the invitation is simple (and beautiful): bring your copy of Borges, sit under the Buenos Aires sky, and share an afternoon of collective reading with others who love Borges as much as you do.
A renovated space in CABA, inspired by Borges

After its renovation, the plaza adds a new feature: a maze inspired by the literary universe of Jorge Luis Borges. It is not just a reopening: it is a different way of reading, exploring, meeting, and staying.
Outdoor (and also digital) literature
The outdoor reading day offers you an experience to share. In addition to the shared reading, you will be able to scan the QR codes located on the benches in the plaza to access the Digital Library dedicated to Jorge Luis Borges and continue exploring his work from your cell phone.
Come and take part in this outdoor reading in Buenos Aires, a free cultural event in the open air, and enjoy a different kind of break during the week, whether you are a literature fan or simply want to rediscover an iconic space in Buenos Aires.
