Chinatown renews itself with a surprise: from now on Chinatown has its own Asian McDonald’s. Just as you hear it. Buenos Aires has its first Asian Mc Donald’s, decorated with Chinese aesthetics, typical Chinese food products and it is open 24 hours a day.
Buenos Aires has the first and only Asian McDonald’s: typical Chinese dishes, Chinese Wall and 24-hour opening.
The first Asian McDonald’s is located in Chinatown, has more than 800 m² and is open 24 hours a day. It opened very recently and in a matter of days it has already become one of the most photographed and commented new spots in the area where you feel like you are in a Chinese passage without leaving Buenos Aires.
Far from being just another branch, this Mc Donald’s Chino was designed as a direct nod to the iconography of Chinatown. The entrance welcomes you with a large Sakura tree, the typical cherry tree of the Japanese Garden, murals with Asian aesthetics, typographies inspired by oriental calligraphy and an arch specially designed for the AutoMac.
Inside you will find traditional elements with contemporary details: something that will surely catch your attention is the mural made with photocatalytic paint, a material capable of absorbing carbon dioxide and improving air quality.
The three exclusive products that can only be tasted at the first and only Chinese McDonald’s in Buenos Aires
For this location only McDonald’s launched three combos inspired by oriental cuisine flavors, although they will be available only for a limited time: Chicken Pops (chicken bites reversioned with panko and teriyaki sauce), Chicken Teriyaki (a chicken sandwich with a sweet and sour sauce that has already won several accolades) and the Apple Pie Sundae (a nostalgic nod to the classic apple pie).
In addition to its gastronomic proposal, this Chinatown location adds several technological novelties: digital kiosks, interactive signage, a McCafé sector, the traditional AutoMac and a large Playland for children. But the detail that gets most of the comments is the order conveyor belt, a delivery system that you won’t see in other stores.
If you are looking for a different experience within a classic, the first Asian McDonald’s in Buenos Aires has to be a fixed visit in your next walk around Belgrano.
