The first subway library in Buenos Aires: How BiblioSubte works in Subway A
The first subway public library in Buenos Aires operates from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 8 pm, directly in the hall of Plaza de Mayo station (Av. de Mayo and Perú).
If you are already a member of the Public Library Network you can check out up to three books per month using the unified catalog. The return is simple: it is done in a mailbox available every day, including weekends.
If you are not yet part of the Network, you can become a member by filling out an online form and start using the services as soon as you receive the confirmation email.
If you don’t like pauses between seasons, you want to stop looking at your cell phone and you think a book is an excellent companion, now you have the opportunity to have one always available and discover new authors, genres or stories.
In addition to this new physical lending point in Plaza de Mayo, you can access virtual libraries in different stations with more than 200 digital books available for free download:
📍Catedral and Congreso de Tucumán (Line D).
📍Obelisco Norte Gallery
And remember that with the opening of the BiblioSubte at Plaza de Mayo Station on Line A you will have at your disposal more than 150 titles to take with you on the go, enjoy during your trip or continue reading at home.
