From May 23 to 25, Buenos Aires will host the first BDSM Film Fest, a festival that blends cinema, art, culture, and BDSM, fetish, and kink practices with talks, workshops, and live performances. The first BDSM Film Festival comes to Buenos Aires: films, live performances, workshops, and a design fair
In May, Buenos Aires will host the first festival dedicated to the culture of bondage, domination, submission, sadism, and masochism. During this first edition of the BDSM Film Fest Argentina, over the course of three days, you’ll be part of an unmissable event where you can enjoy screenings of short and feature-length films, live performances, BDSM art exhibitions, and workshops. Two venues have been chosen for the festival: Casa Brandon and El Escándalo Café.
What to Expect at the 2026 BDSM Film Fest Argentina
This inaugural festival’s program features national and international short and feature films centered on BDSM themes, screenings of independent and experimental films, workshops on consent and safe practices, a fetish design and body art fair, as well as LGBTQ+ community spaces.
The program also highlights queer, trans, and plus-size stories, as well as stories related to sexual and body diversity.

Saturday, May 23: opening at El Escándalo (Almagro)
On this first day of the festival, you’ll find activities from morning until night. In addition to screenings, you’ll witness shibari and bondage demonstrations ( always based on education and consent), as well as conversations about desire, power, boundaries, and vulnerability.

The second day of the Buenos Aires BDSM Film Fest will also take place at the same venue, El Escandalo, with screenings and talks focused on responsible practices within BDSM culture.

The festival’s closing event is at Casa Brandon. That night’s party includes a special screening, pet play -style artistic performances, and a discussion space on bisexuality, pansexuality, and identities on the bi spectrum.

To participate in the screenings and activities of this BDSM festival, you must be at least 18 years old and agree to safety protocols and codes of conduct designed to prevent harassment or non-consensual practices.
