Cuarteto Ámbar will be in charge of bringing to life the most emblematic horror classics, with pieces such as Thriller by Michael Jackson, Danse macabre by Camille Saint-Saëns and the unforgettable soundtracks of The Exorcist, The Crazy Addams and Beetlejuice. Colegio San José Auditorium: the centenary theater that few people know in Buenos Aires opens for a night of horror classics by candlelight.
Inside the Colegio San José, the oldest private school in Buenos Aires, hides an auditorium inaugurated in 1915 and nicknamed “El Coloncito” for its resemblance to the Teatro Colón. With Doric columns and Corinthian details, this National Historic Monument served as a movie theater for students in the 1960s and 1970s. Eventually, it hosted the Argentine Harry Potter convention and was the stage for other cultural events, although it still remains one of the most unknown spaces in Buenos Aires.
