The flight that will connect China with Buenos Aires will be operated in a Boeing 777 and will have two weekly frequencies. Although a technical stopover is planned in Auckland, New Zealand, this flight between China and Buenos Aires is considered as a single leg because passengers will remain on the same aircraft during the entire journey.
This new connection is part of the “Southern Corridor” project, which aims to strengthen air links between Asia, Oceania and South America, and to boost tourism and trade.
Buenos Aires will be directly connected to the most populated city in China and will have the longest flight in the world.
