From September 29 to October 5, a former Salesian printing press in Almagro is transformed into an art festival of immersive experiences with free admission. Don’t miss the first edition of ArtFlow Experience, a festival that brings together more than 80 artists in the lofts of the printing house, an industrial setting with the most avant-garde art.
ArtFlow Experience arrives: free immersive experiences in a former Salesian printing press in Buenos Aires.
For seven days, the building where the Salesian printing press once existed becomes a great creative laboratory. In ArtFlow Experience you will find immersive installations, murals, sculptures, visual arts and live performances. You’ll be able to walk through 35 spaces, talk directly with the artists and even purchase works of art.
Access to this immersive experience in the old Almagro printing press is free, Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 10pm and Friday to Sunday from 12pm to 10pm.
Immersive experiences in an old converted printing press
The building where ArtFlow Experience takes place was born on what used to be the old Salesian printing press in Almagro, where Salesian monks taught trades such as typography and bookbinding.
The space was reinterpreted by the Cajide Rossen Martínez Barenboim studio and GES Desarrollos, and transformed into a loft complex with an industrial seal: high ceilings of more than 4 meters, huge windows, solid walls and a minimalist style.
ArtFlow Experience arrives to this industrial space full of history. This proposal with free admission goes beyond an exhibition: it is a sensory tour where the works dialogue with the architecture and you can actively participate.
Among the immersive experiences you will find is Perspectiva, which proposes three spaces where you become part of the work: interactive installations that change according to your gaze and your movement. Also The Vision Matters, a module of seven spaces where visual artists intervene the environment with works that play with perception, symbol and form, or Immerse Yourself, a module that immerses you completely in three spaces where the limits between spectator and work disappear .
With free admission, more than 80 artists and a building with history, the immersive experiences of ArtFlow Experience promise to become one of the must-see cultural festivals of September.
