The Anne Frank Center opens its doors with an experience that recreates the Secret Annex in Amsterdam, as well as family workshops with special discounts so you can learn about her legacy firsthand.
Hidden away in the Coghlan neighborhood is one of Buenos Aires’ most moving museums: the Anne Frank Center Latin America. During this winter break, this spot dedicated to Anne Frank’s story offers you an unmissable opportunity to explore Anne Frank’s life and get an up-close look at the famous diary that has left its mark on generations.
From Thursday through Sunday, the museum invites you to immerse yourself in a guided tour led by young volunteers who accompany you every step of the way.
Discover the exact replica of the Secret Annex in Amsterdam
The museum’s main attraction is the recreation of the Secret Annex, the hiding place where Anne Frank and her family remained in hiding during World War II. It is the only official replica in all of Latin America, designed in meticulous detail to convey the atmosphere and actual scale of the space in Amsterdam.
In addition to the regular tours, the special winter program includes engaging activities for the whole family:
- 🎨 Collage Workshop (Fridays, July 24 and 31 at 4:00 p.m.): An interactive activity for ages 6 and up, with free admission for children and reduced rates for accompanying adults.
